Farewell to Dr. Evelyne Achieng

On October 20, about four EAARP members gathered for a farewell dinner to celebrate Dr. Everlyne Achieng’s tenure as EAARP treasurer and to bid her farewell. The occasion was also used to welcome Wendy Adwet as the new treasurer. Witnessed by Collins Omondi and Robert Kiptoo, Dr. Everlyne handed over the position of treasurer to Wendy Adwet. Dr. Eve, as commonly referred to by her peers, stepped down in order to pursue her Nuclear Medicine residency as an IAEA fellow in South Africa, commencing in January 2023. Dr. Eve was committed to her own success and the success of her team members. She also assumed the position of Treasurer for the South African-based African Young Generation in Nuclear (AYGN), who are fortunate to have her. We have learned a great deal from working with you, and we will miss your straightforward and honest personality. We congratulate you on your enrollment and wish you success in all your future endeavors.
